Friends of Shishur Sevay advocates for the human rights of orphaned children in India and promotes awareness of the educational needs of abandoned children, particularly those with disabilities.
To that end we make contributions to charitable organizations that encourage the development of special education for abandoned children in India who are developmentally delayed due to physical disabilities and/or the lack of education and opportunities available to such children, including Childlife Preserve: Shishur Sevay, an Indian charitable organization dedicated to promoting the interests, health, and development of orphaned children in Kolkata, India.
